On foot
You can take impressing walks, hikes and mountain tours in fresh mountain air directly from the holiday cottage. The paths, including the E 5 long-distance trail, lead you through lush alpine pastures, wide larch forests, past rushing mountain streams past historic hermits, up to the tree line and the various mountain peaks of the Lagorai, rewarding your climb with a spectacular view. On the way back, you'll find the sheltered shelters, mountain huts, pastures and restaurants. With mountain bike and downhill bike
Directly from the chalet, you can go on mountain bike exits of any difficulty and any length on well signposted, almost unprotected forest roads with fantastic views of the surrounding mountain ranges. The Mòcheno valley is considered an insider tip among mountain bikers because of its abundant possibilities. Downhill bikers also get their money's worth at downhill slopes of up to 24 percent. With the road bike or electric bike
Let the wheels roll in the Mòcheno Valley and on other world famous mountain passes of the "Giro d'Italia". You can also explore the last part of the long-distance cycle path from Lienz to Bassano del Grappa from Pergine and take the train back to Pergine. Bicycles, mountain bikes and bikes can be rented in Pergine.
Motorcicle and car hiking
Experience the Trentino nature experience with its countless mountain roads and passports with your motorbike or in the car and enjoy a little rest on one of the almost 300 mountain lakes of Trentino. You can find some suggestions for tours our chalet.
Paragliding
From Vetriolo Terme, which can be reached within half an hour from the chalet Tòttn, there are optimal conditions to practise paragliding.

If you desire refreshment on hot days, you can go swimming, shopping and staying at the lakes of Lake of Caldonazzo, Lake of Levico, Lake of Piazze and Lake of Lases, which are 15 kilometers distant from the holiday cottage Maso Tòttn.
Day trips in Trentino and near provinces (Small selection)
With its mediterranean climate and lifestyle in the Val Adige, the fascinating Dolomites, UNESCO world heritage, its forests, natural parks, valleys, rivers, streams as well as its almost 300 lakes and 70 castles connected to the many rustic mountain villages and the historic old towns of Trento, Rovereto and Pergine, which blend brilliantly into the landscape, the Trentino creates a unique and unforgettable natural experience.
Another worthwhile excursion destination in Trentino are the rare earth pyramids of Segonzano at a distanze of 30 kilometers. In Trento, 25 kilometers away, you can visit the historical old town and numerous museums such as the newly opened "Muse" and participate in the pulsating life of the provincial capital. Enjoy a day trip to Fassa Valley, 50 kilometers away, to admire the bizarre dolomitic towers of the Catinaccio and Latemar.
Visit the world famous town Venice, 150 kilometers away from the chalet, with its unique flair on a day trip by rail through the Valsugana. Let yourself be enchanted by Lake Garda, 50 kilometers distant, with its Mediterranean microclimate and its unique villages. An experience of a special kind is an opera visit in the Arena of Verona a distanze of 125 from our chalet.
Also visit the she-wolf in Vetriolo Terme, made by a Trentino artist from 2000 pieces of wood and roots. The she-wolf serves to commemorate the devastating storm Vaia in October 2018, which killed 20 million trees in Trentino. Distance from the hut: 15 km.
Leisure activities in winter
Sccing in Panarotta 2002
The inexpensive " Panarotta 2002 " family ski area , which is without any major "hustle and bustle" , is reached in 15 minutes from the chalet Tòttn on cleared roads. Here you will find slopes of all difficulty levels over a length of 18 kilometers on 7 different, excellently groomed slopes with a breathtaking panorama of the Brentadolomites, and the Lagorai mountains. Snow safety until the end of the season is guaranteed by artificial snowmaking.

Cross-country skiing, tobogganing and biking
Only 15 minutes from the chalet is the cross-country skiing area "Van Spitz". Here, on groomed pistes, it is possible to make round trips of up to 25 kilometers with a magnificent panorama view. The slopes are the tip for touring with Fatbikes. There are also a few natural trails. Alternatively, there is another cross-country skiing course in the Panarotta 2002 ski resort.
Touring ski, telemark, snowshoe and winter hiking
Depending on the snow conditions, especially in dicember, january and february, you can climb directly from the chalet, or after a few minutes in the car, impressive, avalanche-prone peaks and admire the unique mountain panorama to the Dolomites and the Lagorai mountains. Many wonderful slopes in the often unpredictable snow crown your ski tour. Explore the nearby and near surroundings of the chalet with the snowshoes on countless forest paths. Enjoy the peaceful winter landscapes of the valley during a relaxing walk in the snow in fresh air.

Attention
In October 2018 the southern part of the alps was hit by extreme weather conditions that damaged some of our beautiful pathes, and subsequently these had to be temporarily closed down. The Provincia Autonoma of Trento is working now to restore the paths.
